Dance Classes

Aspire Dance Arts offers a wide variety of dance classes for ages 2.5-18 in various different styles to enable the growth and advancement of each student. The staff at Aspire Dance Arts believe that exposing dancers to a variety of styles is essential in developing a well rounded dancer. Aspire strives to create diverse and technically proficient dancers. First Steps- Ages 2.5 - 3

This class is for our youngest dancers! Students will enjoy song and dance activities and exploring ballet dance through creative movement. These young dancers will have so much fun playing dress up with tutus, learning with props and using their imaginations.

Little Minis/ Mini's

Little Minis/Mini's-Ages 3 - 5

This class introduces students to basic fundamentals of ballet and tap while boostering imagination, rhythm, and motor skills. Even our youngest preschool students will begin their education learning proper technique and terminology from professional instructors.

Preschool/ Kinder Acro-Ages 4 - 6

This class is a beginner acrobatics class for our preschool and kindergarten students. Students will learn basic tumbling

 fundamentals while working on strength, coordination and flexibility through games and the use of props.

Dance

Kinder/Primary Dance-Ages 5 - 8

This class is specifically for students in kindergarteners through 2nd grade. It combines a half hour of tap with a half hour of ballet. Students can even add on an extra half hour to learn a new style of dance, jazz!

Pointe

Ballet- 1st Grade - Highschool

Ballet is a classical form of dance that establishes discipline with exercises that develop proper body alignment and flexibility. This classical form of dance aids young dancers in every other style of dance. Dancers will progress to pointe based on strength and development.

Tap- 1st Grade - Highschool

Tap classes consist of exercises combining rhythm and and sounds made by the taps on your shoes. Students will develop musicality and sound clarity through exercises and will learn various styles of tap dance including classical tap and rhythm tap.

Jazz

1st Grade - Highschool

Jazz dance is a high energy style of dance characterized by isolated movements, progressions, and a low center of gravity. Dancers will enjoy developing their technique and stylization with upbeat music.  

Hip Hop-

 1st Grade - Highschool

Hip hop is a street dance style depicting current trends of today's music and television scenes. Students can expect a high energy class to age appropriate hip hop music where they will express themselves with movement and develop style.

Lyrical/Contemporary is an expressive form of dance that combines the foundations of ballet and jazz with storytelling depicting emotions. In this class, students explore different qualities of movement and develop improvisational skills.

Acro Dance

1st Grade - Highschool

Acro Dance is a style of dance that fuses dance and tumbling. In this class, dancers will develop strength, flexibility, endurance and balance while tumbling in a safe and progressive environment. 

Musical Theatre-

1st Grade - Highschool

This class combines dancing with singing and acting. Students will enjoy learning monologues, developing their voices and combining their skills within choreography learned to the best of shows from Broadway and the West End.
