PERFORMANCE COMPANIES at ASPIRE
Aspire’s Competition Performance Companies Info:
If your child is interested in advancing their training and participating in more performance opportunities, our competition performance companies are perfect for them. In addition to a dance competition, these groups will also participate in a dance convention where they take class from other industry professionals, perform at Riverfest, be featured in our Christmas show & May show, do an extra performance of their competition dances on stage typically in February, participate in the Christmas parade, as well as any other farmer's markets or other performance opportunities that arise. The competition performance groups at Aspire require a commitment from August through May for the 2023-2024 season and must do an audition to be selected.

We have three different ages/levels for our competition groups:

The Rising Stars Company (dancers ages 5-7) will train at the studio two days per week, a total of 3 hours per week in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, acro and a choreography class. We are still finalizing the fall schedule with our instructors, but will try to keep their weekly classes on Wednesdays and Fridays as they were the previous season. Tuition will be $165/month. This company will compete in one competition.

The Starlets Company (dancers ages 7-10) will train at the studio three days per week, a total of 5 hours per week in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, acro and a choreography class. We are still finalizing the fall schedule with our instructors, but will try to keep their weekly classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays as they were the previous season. Tuition will be $235/month. This company will compete in one competition.

The Nova Company (dancers ages 9-13) will train at the studio four days per week, a total of 7 hours per week in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary and a choreography class. We are still finalizing the fall schedule with our instructors, but plan to keep their weekly classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays as they were the previous season. Tuition will be $285/month. This company will compete in two competitions.
